Dwight E. Nunn

Dwight E.Nunn was born January 10, 1915 in Meredosia, Il, son of Roscoe and Louise Ratcliff Nunn. He married Ruth A. Ham in Quincy, Il. and she died July 29, 1968, age 46.

Mr. Nunn was a veteran of WWII and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1422 in Bushnell, Il. He retired from C.S. Norcross Company in 1980, after 22 years of service.

Dwight passed away July 4th, 1987 at Saunders Hospital, Avon, Il., age 72 years.

Surviving are 4 sons, Robert D.of Port Arthur, Tx; David J.of Milan, Il; Richard E. of Hollywood, Ca; and James Nunn of Bushnell; one daughter Daisy Eddington of Bushnell; 11 grand children; two brothers, Albert Nunn of Rock Island, and Bob Nunn of Springfield, Il.; one sister Elizabeth Bemis of Quincy, Il. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one grand daughter.

Services were held at Martin Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, Il. with burial in Bushnell City Cemetery. VFW military rites conducted at the cemetery.
