I am an artist, therapist and life long learner. I'm fascinated by history and the cycles that get repeated throughout time. In my work I'm sensitive and knowledgable about generational trauma and the way that gets replicated in lineages. I have a strong desire for healing and community.

I am excited to once again embark on learning more about my lineage. The Combs have a rich history and beyond the 8 Combs brothers story and some stories of Cherokee History I don't know much. Most recently I am intrigued by a story I found of Chief Red Bird in some of the lines and this early history of survival of the Cherokee people. I was named after my great grandmother Eliza Fugate who's mother's lineage (Lucinda "Cindy" Fugate nee Combs) I can't find much information on but I am told was Cherokee. It's really cool because there is a photograph of her and Jefferson Fugate but no real information on where it is from or about them.
