- So then we find Hugh Dutton, the first Dutton of Hatton, in Right of Petronill* his wife, Daughter and Heir of Peter de Hatton juxta Warton, branching out under Richard the Second. This Hugh was a younger son of Edmund Dutton, which Edmund was a younger son of Sir Thomas Dutton of Dutton. [X.]
