2nd Lieutenant/Ensign - Pennsylvania's Regiment - French and Indian War
Captain - Bedford County, PA Militia in Revolution.

Galloway, and printed for the author in Mobile, Alabama by Gill Printing Company, Coyprighted 1964 by Howard S. Galloway, has extensive information about the purchase of land, family movements, and various conflicts during the lives of Rees Shelby b. 1721, and Evan Shelby b. 1740, beginning on pages 25 and and 28 respectively.
