About George Howland

George is listed as a freeholder in the "Monmouth County 1790 Freeholders List. The cost of their marriage license was 500 pounds.

There is a Cook Howland who appears on the Tax List dated 1786 in Shrewsbury Township, Monmounth County, New Jersey. It seems likely that he is also a son of George's, but is dead before he made his will so does not appear in it.
