George D. Stiles, City Native, Dies George D. Stiles, 84, of 52 Sullivan St., Claremont, N.H., a native of North Adams, died last Thursday in the Claremont General Hospital. Mr. Stiles was born July 20, 1879, a son of Orville and Mary Stiles. He attended local public schools and was a member of the First Congregational church and of Oneco Lodge of Odd Fellows of North Adams. He moved to Claremont in 1902 and learned the machinist's trade. Later he served for many years as superintendent of cemeteries there. He leaves his wife, the former Dorothy Grout; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Wakeman of Claremont; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alexander Murray of Fall River, the former Amy Stiles. He also leaves one niece; and several cousins in Willamstown. Funeral services were held yesterday in Claremont, and burial was in the Pleasant Street Cemetery there.
