This site claims that her Father was Comte Godfried (Ginbert) de Beaulac, birthdate as yet unknown, but he died circa 942 A.D. (CE) Her Mother was Mathilde de Luxemboug, biorn circa 907 A.D.(CE)

Either way, Gilette only assumes the title "la Danois" after she married Ansfrid (Lancelot) son of Hrolf "Rollo" Turstan
