Manti--Helen Larsen Braithwaite, 83, passed away Wednesday, September 22nd peacefully in her home in Manti, Utah.

Helen was born January 4, 1916 in Manti, Utah, the daughter of Harold LeRoy and Cristella Maria Marx Larsen. She attended elementary and high school in Manti. Helen was married to Homer Ray "Dude" Braithwaite, March 15, 1941, in Price, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. "Dude" preceded her in death April 29, 1978. Helen was a very friendly and outgoing lady. She was kind and generous to all who knew her and to her family who loved her so very much. She will be missed tremendously by her loved ones and friends.

She is survived by her three sons and two daughters: Paul LeRoy (Pam) of Salina, Ted H. (Marilyn) of El Paso, Texas, Stanley Kent (Keena) of Trinidad, Colorado, Denise Shand (Francis) of Manti, Utah, and Deanne "Punky" of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 27, 1999 at 12 noon, in the Manti Sixth Ward. Friends may call Monday at the ward chapel from 10 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services. Services will be under the direction of Buchanan Mortuary and interment will be in the Manti Cemetery.
