HELEN LUCILLE UTTERBACK

Helen Lucille Longfellow Utterback passed away at Lake View Care Center, Lenexa, Kansas March 12, 2001. Funeral services were held at Murdock Funeral Home Friday, March 16, 2001 at Perry, Iowa.

She was born June 22, 19l7, at Bedford, Iowa. She attended Bedford School and graduated with the class of 1935. She graduated from Simpson College, Indianola, Iowa, in 1939. She taught commercial business subjects in the Perry High School for many years.

She married Dr. L.A. Utterback of Perry in 1943.

She is survived by her son, David Utterback, Overland Park, Kansas; one granddaughter, Megan Utterback, Overland Park, Kansas; one brother, Howard Longfellow, Rockwell City, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.A. Utterback and her parents, Joseph and Orpha Holmes Longfellow.
