In the 1930 census Robert and William are listed as nephews, whereas in an earlier census William is listed as a son.

Michael: This is because there were 2 different William's. The one listed in the earlier census was the son of Harry and Vira. The William who was listed in 1930 was the nephew of Harry and Vira. He was the son of Vira's sister Sadie Rachmil, and Harry's brother Myer Solomon Cohn. Sadie was the 1st wife of Myer Solomon Cohn, and she died of consumption when her 2 boys, William and Robert, were still young. In the 1920 Census, William and Robert lived with their father, Myer Solomon Cohn and his 2nd wife Bertha "Birdie" (Aarons) Cohn, who was their stepmother. By the 1930 Census, these 2 boys were living with Harry and Vira.
