His education was begun in District No. 9, and he later attended the West Millgrove schools for three terms. Being reared to agricultural pursuits, he has always made that vocation his life work.In Perry township, Wood county, Mr. Kelly was married September 27, 1882, the lady of his choice being Miss Jennie Rosendale, who was born in that township November 22, 1864, the daughter of George W. and Elizabeth (Locey) Rosendale. When nine years of age she was taken to Elk county, Kans., where she remained seven years, returning then to West Millgrove, Ohio, and living with C. R. Rosendale until her marriage. Two children have come to our subject and his wife -Ralph L., born February 26, 1886; and Eliza J., born August 31, 1890.
