John Kniveton of Hartshorne & Underwood (dvp. 1548),[1] was the son of:[2] John Kniveton, Esq. of Mercaston, Derby,[2] & and Margaret, dau. of Nicholas Montgomery of Cubley & Joan Vernon of Haddon.[2]
