A. Waite.<br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" />John Quincy Adams Waite, shoemaker and gardner, died Tuesday at his residence...aged 69 years.<br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" />He was born in Worcester April 5, 1825, son of Samuel and Lois (Brigham) Waite.<br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" />He was a shoemaker by trade, but had combined that business with gardening.<br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" />He had resided for the last 12 or 15 years on a small farm of 14 acres which he had cultivated in connection with his other business.<br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" />His father came to Worceser from Hubbardston in 1818, with a large family of children, of whom three now survive, a brother, Samuel D. Waite, and a sister, residing in this city, and a brother, Oliver H. Perry Waite, residing in Philadelphia.<br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" />Another brother, the late Andrew Jackson Waite, died last July.<br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" />The late John Q. A. Waite leaves a wife and four sons, Walter T., Otis, Hastings and Andrew J., all of this city, and four daughters, of whom one Martha J., is widow of the late Fred W. Barber of Barber's Crossing.</p>
