John Warren was three times mayor of Dover during the period 1525-1430 [sic 1540] and sat for that town in three Parliaments between 1529 and 1541. He acquired lands called Greuawaye and Palmers in the parish of Ripple, Kent, in 1538
being interred with his father in the church of St. Peter. His wife survived him for many years and by her will, proved in 1572, she provided for her burial in the Lady Chapel of St. Peter's, as near as might be to her husband, John Warren.
