p. 26 Quienes llegaron de Croacia entre los años 1857 y 1918 llevaban pasaportes en los que figuraban como austriacos o austrohúgaros. Y lo mismo sucedió con los húngaros, eslovenos y montenegrinos ya que al igual que Croacia, estas naciones pertenecían al imperio austrohúngaro. Passports admitted from 1918 onwards coming from Croatia showed the legend: Yugoslav or Italian P 168 onwards The author devotes several pages to Mihanovich, Nicholas, who owned a shipping company and further enterprises. Again, she mentions Miguel, Nicholas's brother, wealthy as well.
