Kathryn Gertrude Eastlund

Kay Eastlund worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles and attended Inglewood High School. She met her husband, Bud (Ernest Oliver) through her brother Elmo. Together, she and Bud managed a liquor store after Bud's career as a steelworker ended.

She lived in a time when it wasn't polite to ask a woman her age. She had a tiny shamrock sticker that she placed over the birth year on her driver's license.

Kay and her husband are both buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
