Kevin J. Bristol

Kevin Bristol, 74, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Mr. Bristol was born May 22, 1944 in Queens, New York to the late Milton and Catherine (Fennelly) Bristol. Kevin grew up in Queens and New Milford, CT, where he graduated from New Milford High School. He attended the University of Maine and earned his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. He was also the president of the TKE Fraternity. Kevin then relocated to North Plainfield, NJ before settling in the Franklin Township section of Somerset, NJ.

Kevin was a parishioner at St. Matthias Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Somerset. He was a Service Technician Manager at National Starch in Bridgewater, NJ and until his retirement, he was the Vice President at American Key Products. Kevin was an avid golfer and loved to watch sports, especially the NY Giants, NY Mets and the Boston Red Sox. He was a loving father and a caring grandfather and will be deeply missed.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dolores Bristol of Somerset, NJ; his son, James and his wife Fran Bristol of Toms River; his daughter, Laura and her husband Todd Oram of Hillsborough; his sister, Susan Kubat of Florida and his five grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, Eric, Kaitlyn and Tyler.

Family and friends may visit from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 28th, at Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Burial and committal service will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Somerset.
