About Leanders / Leandruis Óláfsson
Leandruis Óláfsson is said to have been the ancestor of Clan Leanders or Gillanders. Traditionally, he was said to have been a younger son of Oláfr the Black, the Norse King of Man and the Isles, who died 18 June 1237.
