She took in and fed anyone in her home, including the legendary Marvin Gay. Marvin Gay and Bishop Rawlings hung out together. Mother Fain was a praying woman. She fasted for others on a regular basis. Matter fact she died fasting. She went 7 days without food or water which ultimately caused her death. She started the house of God from her home and there is a picture of her in the church on Georgetown Street which we need to try and get a copy of. I’m sure someone will allow us to at least take a picture of her picture or get copies made. She was beautiful.
