Moises Singer

Moises Singer became Uhersky Ostroh Familiant No. 80 in 1803. No age given.

He was married to Sulka Singer on May 10, 1803; witnesses (see in MEDIA) were his probable brother Jakob Singer and probable bride's father Simon Weiss. (Jakob Singer was also witness at the birth of Moises's eldest son Simon.) Sulka is listed on marriage record as Weiss[nin].

Moises Singer's daughter Anna (b. 1813) and son Emanuel (b. 1807) died within a week of each other in 1831 both in Ostroh, Haus No. 23. On the Plan of Ostroh based on 1727 delineation of a Jewish Quarter, Moises Singer owned House No. XXIII. The list of names was added in the early 1800s.
