About R' Isaac Eizik Chaver of Tykocin
He was a Kabbalist, and served at various times as Rabbi of Volkovisk, Tiktin, and Suvalki were he died.
He was also referred to as Yitzchak Eizik Chaver Wildmann by some.
According to family lore passed down from Yitzhak Issak Segal's only son Chaim, Yitzchak Eizik Chaver of Suwalk was Yitzhak Isaac Segal's grandfather. This information is recorded in print on p. 2 of the genealogy research prepared by Chaim Segal's granddaughter, Yael Chaver (le bayt Segal): Yael Chaver's "Family Story: Segal-Goelman-Chaver." compiled 2004-2011, p.2. Presumably, Y.I. Segal named his daughter Shprintze after his grandmother, the wife of Yitzchak Eizik Chaver, and this name has repeated itself (as Nitza or Tzafi) to the present time.
"Great scholar, religious authority and educator [...he was] a second-generation student of Gaon Eliyahu (Elija) of Vilna (1720-1787)."
