"Also there is the record at the IKG-Wien of George König's first marriage to Caroline Glattauer in 1857. Georg König and Caroline König geb. Glattauer produced one daughter: Laura König, who married Dr Wilhelm Blau; Laura and wilhelm Blau had there children.

More interestingly, the marriage record states that Georg König's Father was Salomon Wolf König and his mother was Theresia (König) geb. Glattauer and her current married surname is Bachrach. I surmise that Georg König's mother was therefore Rebeka Theresia Bacharach, formerly König , geb. Glattauer.

Georg König, my Great great Grandfather, was the founder, with his half Brother, Bernhard Bachrach of the Viennese Jewish publishing House "Georg König u. Bruder Wien u. Leipzig" based at Fischerstiege, 6 in the centre of Vienna. Georg was married twice and had 11 (eleven) children. His third child, Ida König, was my Great Grandmother, and his fourth child Rudolf König was an amateur astronomer, mathematician and selenographer, as well as head of the Publishing company after Georg died. Rudolf König has a crater on the moon named after him by the IAU, in 1935, Moon Crater König. "
