About Samuel Jacob Margolis
Settled in Malmo, Sweden.
Two daughters who settled in Denmark. Rachel, who remained in Denmark, married into the Gruen family. Toby Kantor, her sister, left and settled in Chicago. Members of Toby's family settled in Iowa.
Toby Kantor is the grandmother of MacKinlay Kantor.
Samuel Jacob Margolis' third daughter, Sophie, married Paul Lieberman, son of Isser Samuel Lieberman. Sophie and Paul Lieberman's daughters, Mary and Rose, married first cousin brothers (Louis and Nathan Lieberman respectively), sons of Paul's brother Solomon.
1. Rose & Nathan - two sons: Robert Lee and Lee Mortimer. No descendants.
2. Mary & Louis - son Paul killed in WWII, son Seymour Lieberman who had a daughter, Marcella.
3. Nathan (another Nathan Lieberman) - lived in Chicago. His family settled in San Francisco.

5. Annette Lieberman m. Benjamin Greene, lived in Chicago. Greene's mother Rachel was the daughter of Rabbi Joseph Komisarky of Chicago. Benjamin Greene's father's brother was the husband of Lane Bryant. Annette and Benjamin's children: Jeanette married Arthur Malsin. Annette and Benjamin's son James Paul married Babette Climitz.
