UPDATE (25 May 2010): Y-DNA testing has proven that Richard Lyon, of Fairfield and Henry Lyon, of Newark were closely related. Rather surprisingly, it also appears William Lyon, of Roxbury is closely related to them, while Thomas Lyon, of Rye is not. At last, some solid evidence on the relationships of these four men!

Scotland or London. The fight has gone on for 200 years. Lore has Henry Lyon coming with his two brothers, Richard and Thomas, from Scotland, when and why. No supporting original source documents so far for either location as it appears the London Richard had other children at the time, specifically a possible different Richard (1611) and considerable documentation on William (1621) coming over in 1635, an orphan at age 14, and not listed in any source with Richard, Thomas, and Henry.
