Lyman, Walter Kenneth Gordon
LYMAN, Walter Kenneth Gordon (1897-1951) of Montreal was born there on 17 January 1897 and attended Lower Canada College and the School of Architecture at McGill University. He graduated in 1921 and completed post-graduate studies in Paris, France in 1921-22. Upon returning to Montreal in 1923 Lyman commenced his own practice there where he specialized in the design of single houses and large residential developments including the St. Sulpice and Gage Road projects. He died in Montreal on 10 September 1951 (obituary in the Gazette [Montreal], 12 Sept. 1951, 23; biography and portrait in Who's Who in Canada, 1927, 908; biography in R.
