About Wife of John Oldham
Mrs. Oldham, the wife of John Oldham came to Plymouth Colony with her then husband and probably also her son from a previous marriage, William Bridges. They arrived in 1623 on the Anne[1] (or possibly the accompanying ship the Little James). No record of her first or last name at birth has been found.
Her first marriage was to _________ Bridges in England[1] by about 1614.
Known children:
William b c1615 m Persis Pierce by 1643 at Charlestown d c 1651
Her second marriage to John Oldham by c 1623.[1] No known children.[1]
Mrs. Oldham's death date is unknown. There was no provision made for her after her husband's death in 1636, so she may have died earlier.[1]
