Be Ing Tjoe - History

Be Ing Tjioe , married with met Djwa (or Tjoa?) Tjoe Nio.
Origanlly from province Hokkian, residence Tjiang Tjioe, afdeling Hay Ting, district Thjio Be.
On the age of 17 moved with fam Tan-Nio to Indonesia.
On the age of 21 married with the daughter of Tan-Nio, and became a tenant under the major of the chinese Tan Tiang Tjhing (titel: Hok Goan) in Bagelen. He became lieutenant (titel: Be Tjing Khwee).
On 7jan1839 became captain in Semarang (so called pitan Brenkelan dari Kebon Dalem).
On 25dec1841 became major in Purworedjo (titel: Soen Bie Ho).
In 1855 moved to Batavia and died on 27mai1857 at the age of 54 and burried in Peterongan (Semarang).
His wive Djwa (Tjoa?) Tjoe Nio is burried in Mangung (Semarang).

According the 'Regeringsalmanak' Be Ing Tjioe was installed as Luitenant der Chinezen de Bagelen in 1832 (Not Semarang) and promoted to Captain (for Bagelen) in 1838.
On the same year he moved to Semarang and the Captaincy in Bagelen was given to Be Tjo Lok.
He was given honorair Major (Titulair Majoor der Chinezen) for Semarang in 1843.
