What about to visit the local Archive concerning Joanna Fraser later Patrick /Lady circa. 1288. Maybe I have the information some place in my MINI -Library ,but I cannot find it just now, sorry. After all Lady Joanna Fraser (Patrick ) was preferably her biology Mother .
I am from Ejde the Faroe Islands and not Local citizens in GB yet so I will hold me awaiting until the Result about Malcolm. Malcolm is Magnus on English Language. Regards: Magnus or Malcolm.

Possibly worth exploring further (see extract below) - maybe worth contacting them to see what their source was. Parents of Sir Malcolm b 1312 here are Sir Patrick and Joan Fraser - as it is on GENi.

I am beginning to think that what has happened is that this Malcolm has been given the title of 1st Earl of Wigtown, when in fact that title belongs to his uncle? In which case Sir Malcolm Fleming, 1st Earl of Wigtown should be 1st Earl of Wigmore, in which case the parents are in keeping with what Kristin was saying?

the 1st generation is what I was seeing all over the place. Tho I did notice there were alot of Malcoms and Patricks in the family line. And the dates were just not meshing here with this earl. Hopefully Geni can get it straightened out... Thanks June!!

I think the dates feel rectified but The 3 links I provided,that have Robert as a father of the 1st earl of wigtown, has his date at about 1300 being born.? and dying about 1360 ish. So I guess I am still a little confused hehe...this one sure has me perplexed!

I take a look at it and print it on paper , Thank you for the JOB. I will now keep it on a safer place. Of course. !!!
