Hello, Howard Metzenberg Do you know much history about this Winton family? According to my cousins this Winton family is supposed to be different than my Winton family. All I know is that this Winton family is always referred to as Connecticut Winton's and I think always stayed in the North and maybe Canada? My Winton family resided in Pennsylvania and then moved south through Shenandoah, VA and Tennessee and spread all over the Southern U.S. and branches finally moving west.
Thanks, Ian Winton
I found this man and his wife in Find a Grave and sourced it to his profile.
Samuel Coil Winton, Sr.
Will have to dig for proper sources before him.
Also I believe his father Nathan Winton is registered with the Daughters American Revolution? I remember seeing him when I was digging for my Winton's.
Nathan David Winton
Possibly this Nathan Winton here?

Nope probably not that Nathan Winton? DAR record says he is born...
Birth:
1-1-1759 PROB CONNECTICUT
and the Find a Grave says Samuel Winton married Margaret Coyle was born 1769. He probably didn't father a child at 10 yrs old or something is wrong? As far as I know out of all my Winton family there is not anybody named Nathan???
