I love this project. I have Macclesfield Silk designers and workers on my tree. Not sure if any were weavers (will have to check) but definately some piecers. One of my ambitions is to discover a design by my great great grandfather. My Great Aunt used to tell a story about when they were out for a tea he would sketch a design on the white cloth napkins or table cloths and then take it with him!
