YDNA testing is not matching our James Miller descendant to more than two men total. Our James, according to a biography of his grandson, George Russell Miller, Western Arkansas Biographies, Ancestry.com, was born in SC. His son, John Miller, was born 25 Dec. 1806 in TN. John married Nancy Mary, daughter of Joseph Wilson (trapper and trader) in Tennessee. John was a circuit and probate judge in Monroe County, TN where he is enumerated 1830 US Federal Census Monroe, TN. John and his young family and widowed mother moved to Dade County, GA near Rising Fawn paying cash for a large farm. John and his sons, Joseph, John Thornton Miller, George Russell Miller, William Anderson Miller increased the family's holdings and when war loomed, they sold and moved to Polk County, Arkansas where The Millers are buried at Cherry Hill, Board Camp, Arkansas.
