There is a conflict on [Sgt. Joseph White with regard to his mother Susanna Humphrey and I can't tell from the profile notes which profile is correct.

For the wife of Nicholas White, Sr., of Taunton we have:
* Susanna White, daughter of Thomas Foster, of Wendover and Elizabeth Humphrey
* [Unknown Profile, daughter of Jonas Humphrey and Frances Humphrey

Elizabeth Humphrey was also the wife of Jonas Humphrey according to our tree.

I assume that Susannah Humphrey was the daughter of Thomas Foster, of Wendover and Elizabeth Humphrey, Thomas Foster, of Wendover died and Elizabeth Humphrey married Jonas Humphrey, thus adopting Susannah, but I'd rather have someone that is more familiar with this family make that merge/change.

c-tag Erica Howton.

It looks to me like this is one of those cases complicated by Geni's lack of a coherent adoptive parental system. In the case of my father, I attached him to his two bio parents and used the birth name field to indicate original last name, but this case involves more names of course.

The curator note says:

Thomas Foster & Elizabeth Seamer. Adopted by her stepfather, Jonas Humphrey. Married: Nicholas White (c. 1618-1697) ...

As far as I know there was no legal name change, the Humphrey was an AKA, so am adding that to the "also known as" field, and her last name to her legal last name of White.

Merge completed, incorrect parents disconnected after merge.

I noticed that MH matches gives parent results for Elizabeth Humphrey.

They indicate her parents as John Seymour, of Sawbridgeworth & Dyzory Seymour

Those names as parents of a Seamer make no sense to me?

Oh - I see it. Seymour > Semare.

But look at the locations for a theoretical brother

John Seymour Semare
Birth: circa 1576
Sawbridgeworth, Hertford, England

And for this Elizabeth (Seamer) Foster
Birth: circa 1580
Wendover, Buckinghamshire, England

And her 1st husband is also of Wendover

Distance: Wendover to Ware
About 45 miles

You think? With a common name like Seymour?
