I have copies of many documents from two trips to the archives in Sweden and GB that show direct lineage to Somerset.
I also worked with two professional genealogists in Sweden verifying this.
So I think that there might be some link missing in your research; Either that or all of the verifying documentation was false, and the genealogists that I worked with were wrong.

I will go over the research that you posted.
