As far as I can tell, a profile that you manage for a Thomas White born in Devon got merged with one that was indeed the same guy BUT had been attached to John White from Somerset, by a user no longer on Geni.
Best thing to do I think is simply to detach your Devon Thomas from the parents he has at the moment; you had not given him parents, so things would go back to where they were.
