I'm moving this to the discussions for posterity...

Original question posted (I think) by Thomas Föhl (c) :

"there is a problem with this person; the matches of Steve Weil (MyHeritage; usually a very good source) say born 1807 in Jebenhausen, died unknown in the US; parents Anschel Abraham Arnold and Esther Arnold, née Regensburger

but on the other hand there is a Jüttle Ottenheimer, born 1807 in Jebenhausen, died 1881 in Stuttgart with the parents Maier Abraham Arnold and Sara Arnold, née Regensburger

same parents???, same daughter??? twins, wrong names???, incorrect sources???"

It turns out that there were simply two girls with the same names born in the same year. They both were probably named for their (shared) maternal grandmother, Juttle Regensburger , who had died in 1800.

Rabbi Aron Tanzer's book, Die Geschichte der Juden in Jebenhausen notes that Juttle, daughter of Anschel Abraham Arnold and Esther Regensburger, was born in 1807 and married Wolf Lindauer in Jebenhausen in 1830.

He *also* mentions a Juttle, daughter of Mayer Abraham Arnold and Sara Regensburger, born in 1807, who married Isak Ottenheimer in Jebenhausen in 1826.

This is confirmed by marriage records from Jebenhausen held in the Landesarchiv Baden-Württemberg:

1) Marriage of Isaak Ottenheimer and Juttle Arnold (daughter of Mayer Abraham Arnold and Sara Regensburger)

2) Marriage of Wolf Lindauer and Juttle Arnold (daughter of Anschel Abraham Arnold and Esther Regensburger):

Jette Arnold Lindauer arrived in the U.S. in 1849 with children Sophie, Abraham, Pauline, and Sara, sailing aboard the "Duchefied Orleans".
