Lt-Col. Hon. James Alexander - Death Place of "Eridy, Donegal"

Lt-Col. Hon. James Alexander is listed as dying in "Eridy, County Donegal, Ireland."

The problem is that there is no location called Eridy, it doesn't appear on historic maps, and it doesn't follow any Irish naming conventions. Eridy seems to only exist in family trees.

I see that some other trees say he died in Raphoe, Co. Donegal, which is certainly a real place. Still others say he'd merely rented land in Donegal, and that he died in Scotland.

Can we sort this out?
