The Heraldry image is of an "Edmonstone / Edmonston" Shield or Arms and specifically NOT for the Family Seton.

Edmonstone / Edmonston has never been a Branch of the family Seton.

In the first edition of Burke's Peerage . . . Burke was sadly mistaken in Vol I.

I will post the correcting image to this profile for: Sir John Seton, 2nd Lord Seton.

I have 45+ years of extensive study of the Edmonstone's / Edmonston's and all of its name variations can bee seen @ https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Edmonstone_Clan of which I created several years ago.

My Mother: Private Birth name: Donna Marie Edmonston. Signed: John P Vickery IV

IDK =(I Don't Know) but I do know that the link to Wikitree is showing an Edmonstone Arms Shield. Please see my source listed above and share and advise someone in Wikitree to make a change... as I am no longer a member of Wikitree. Thank You, John
