Bio: Captian William Twitty was killed while traveling with Daniel Boone to Kentucky (Wilderness Trail).

He lived in Rutherfordton, NC (then Tryon, NC) with his wife Susannah Beller(s) Twitty. Susannah's father was Peter Bellers of Stokes County, NC.

Susannah Twitty married Colonel William Graham (Battle of Kings Mountain). Susannah gave birth to their daughter on the night of the battle.

Colonel Graham adopted Susannah Twitty's children and the legal papers were signed by Fredrick Hambright.
