Beato was a famous photographer who was born in Venice. His father David moved the family to Corfu at a time when it was a British protectorate.
Considered one of the finest photographers of his time, he worked in Constantinople with his brother-in-law James Robertson, also a photographer. He travelled to India, Hong kong, China, Korea and Japan photographing events and sights of the time. He is considered the father of photography in Japan. Many photographs of his prolific output still exist today in museums, universities and private collections.

Felice eventually settled in Burma in the late 1870s where he gave up his photographic business in favor of antiques and curios.

I am looking for anyone who has information on Felice and his family fora book about his life.
