I work for Geni and we received the following message by an internet user who's NOT a Geni user -- Private User do you have a source for the parentage of these three brothers?
"[It is not true] that three brothers name Jem (James) Haga, Edward Haga and Albert Haga are the sons of the widow, Josephine Haga Watterud (born January 04, 1822 Jevnaker, Norway, died February 11, 1912).
I believe the following to be true:
Lars Johnsen Haga 1845-1926 immigrated to the United States in June 1868. He married Ingeborg Eriksdatter Grua. Between 1871 and 1874. They had 3 children:
1) Jens (aka James) - 1874-1883.
2) Edward - 1875-1965 who moved to Bergen, ND.
3) Albert - 1877-1938 who moved to Canada."
