I've made his profile public and it should be ok for merging, I do notice his parents have different information too, which also makes it harder for merging too.

Thanks. My line is showing correctly connected now but I have a cousin who was showing this as a direct line on both sides of her tree but now it only shows on one. She's knowledgeable about Geni though, so I told her which profiles you were working on and she can check them out again. I only know my own line and she's from a cousin branch.
