Townsend Guess
Hello, I have found reports in multiple Oklahoma papers on Newspapers.com of the house fire and death of Townsend Guess
Guess. His name is not mentioned, only that he died just hours after the house fire, and was the 3 year old son of Atty. H.A. Guess.
He died on Apr 9, 1912. I posted a clipping from one of the papers on H.A. Guess's memorial: "Boy Dies in Fire," which was published in
the Guthrie Daily Star on Apr 10, 1912. There was no mention of where the boy was interred. He is not on findagrave and I've found no obit so far. I assume he was buried in McAlester, where he was killed, or perhaps in Guthrie, since the family had previously lived in Guthrie and had family there.
