My grandfather, Vasily Vasilyevich Sheverdyaev – is the younger brother of Anna Vasilyevna Sheverdyaeva (Anna Vellner, wife of Kolla Vellner) and Ivan Vasilyevich Sheverdyaev (changed his name to Jaan Loit).
Jaan Loit and Anna Vellner were born in the city of Ruza, Moscow region, Russian Empire. In the 1920s, Jaan Loit lived in the family of Anna and Kolla Vellner in Tallinn and studied at a Russian gymnasium.
As far as I know, in 1944 the Vellner family and the wife of Jaan Loit Erika Loit with their daughter Anna left Estonia and settled in Sweden. Jaan Loit remained in Tallinn and died in 1992.
