This person 'may' be a direct ancestor for my son on his paternal side but on Ancestry she is showing as married to Danel Kinard.

On Daniel's Find-a-Grave page she is mentioned as Moseley, which is one of the several ways her name shows:

Ancestry ThruLines is showing DNA matches to her as Daniels' wife and them as the father of:

John Kinard

who isn't connected to any parents on Geni because until this began showing up in ThruLines, his parentage has been a brick wall.

I just discovered this profile for Daniel Kinard:

Daniel Kinard, Sr.

and he has a wife of Mosely Kinard (Price) connected. I've seen on Ancestry where Mosely Price and the aforementioned Mosley (etc) Rentz are merged into one person as Mosely Rentz (Price) Kinard.

I don't know what is correct and what might just be same-name confusion, although Mosley (etc) Kinard is not a common name to come across.

Additionally, the above Daniel Kinard is shown as the father of a Graham Kinard. So all the same names are connecting to these two families. I feel confident they're all related, if we can just get their connections sorted out.

For all I can tell, this Graham Kinard:

may be identical to this one

Graham Kinard

and perhaps he just has the wrong wife's name attached to him if Mosely is, indeed, actually his mother rather than his wife.
