General John Henry Ross 100% Irish, I - John Henry Ross

I'm another member of the Ross family through John Ross Jr to William his son to James Alexander Ross to his son John Alexander Ross to his son Tom /Thomas Ross to his son William rilie Ross who is my grandpa..who Tom Ross is his son..I don't see how James Ross could be the father of John Henry Ross considering James was born in 1698 Ireland and John Henry Ross was born in 1715...plus I searched for John Henry being the son of James also..and I couldn't find the connection with them being father and son..if I am missing it ...could you pls let me know..ty...
