Richard came with Philip Carteret, first Governor of the colony of New Jersey in August 1665. He settled in Elizabethtown, New Jersey. He was a "joiner" which meant he was a cabinet maker. Apparently he made very fancy furniture. Richard came on the ship called the Phillip. He came with Governor Carteret in 1664 to Elizabethtown (now Elizabeth), Union County, New Jersey.

He sounds important enough to warrant some nice sources and an MP flag :)
