Can someone help determine which set of parents is correct here? I inherited management of some profiles in this area, but I don't really know French-Canadian research in this time period and I don't have good records access.

The two sets we're showing are:

1) Jean-Baptiste François Fortier and Marie-Thérèse Nadeau

2) Jean Baptiste Fortier and Marguerite Panadis Paradis

The two Jean-Baptiste Fortiers we have are showing different dates and locations.

Indeed, Jean-Baptiste François Fortier, spouse of Marie-Thérèse Nadeau, is my fourth great grandfather, and his son Jean-Baptiste Fortier, spouse of Marie Brigitte Morin, is my third great grandfather and his son Pierre Fortier, spouse of Marie-Reine Dion, is my second great grandfather. "Jean-Baptiste" is a very popular surname in the history of "La Nouvelle France"...
