Jane Mackenzie - MARRIAGE: THERE WAS ONLY ONE MARRIAGE

C. 1848 : Jane Mackenzie was born to Elspeth Mackay and William Mackenzie of Torbreck, Rogart
26th February 1875 Jane, aged 26 as per marriage certificate, married Alexander (Sandy) Murray at Torbreck in a Free Church service.
They lived at Rhemusaig, Rogart. Sandy was a Merchant / Farmer and also the Miller at Rogart, taking over from his father William Murray.

My Great Grandmother, born Jane Mackenzie was only ever married ONCE and that was to Alexander (Sandy) Murray.

PLEASE BE ADVISED that any reference to Jane having been married to an Alexander Macaskill or a Donald Macaskill is INCORRECT.

Mackenzie Murray are my maternal and paternal Grandmothers, respectively.
Had their mother been married to either of the aforementioned Macaskill men, I think my Grandmothers would have know about it.

This ERROR is being perpetuated through the various Family Tree Websites and any attempt at contact the relevant people with the correct information goes ignored.
