The children mentioned here as STEPCHILDREN are actually biological children of Helen. Helen is my great-grandmother and she lived in later life with my grandmother, Lillie Barbara Adeline Brynildsen Nelson in N.D. BTW, Helen's father was a Johannessen. When the Johannessen family left Norway, they took the name Rolles from the nearby town of the same name. In the US, that name was "Anglicized" to Rollis and sometimes Helen was/had been called Johnson in the US -- an Americanized version of Johannessen.
