Joseph-Ozanie Nadeau - Where is the place in present day Quebec where Mr. Nadeau owned land back in the days?

Hello Tarmo…Ozanie Nadeau would also be my first great grandfather in North America…I believe there are seven parishes on the ell d’Orleans they are 10 miles apart usually walking distance…Ste-Famille is about 10 miles from the east end of the island…and Francis would be at the end of the island… St. Francis is also where my first great grandfather Laflamme comes from… you enter the island from the West end of the island… when you cross the bridge bear left onto the main road and travel to Ste-Famille you’ll find a beautiful home which has all the information you will need… it is right next to the parish in Ste-Famille who knows I may see you there… I do have a few pictures of the area if you wish to see them my email is nlaflamme873@yahoo.com have a nice day Noel…

Thank you for the question Tarmo and the information Noel. Ozanie Nadeau is also my original great grandfather (7th in direct paternal lineage). I also plan to visit Ile D'Orlean to see my North American roots.

Based on the information in Joseph-Ozanny Nadeau's profile, he used to own the lots 224 and 226.

I found an old map of Ile d'Orleans where the lot numbering has been marked.. You can find the maps from the below link: I marked the lot (226) owned by Mr. Nadeau with red square.
